Job Description/Requirements
As a Telefundraiser, your role will involve making outbound calls to engage potential donors and raising funds to support Greenpeace’s environmental initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reaching out to potential donors via outbound calls to introduce Greenpeace’s environmental campaigns.
- Building meaningful connections with prospective donors to encourage regular monthly contributions.
- Achieving or exceeding fundraising targets to advance Greenpeace’s mission.
- Utilizing scripts and effective communication techniques to generate interest and schedule appointments for the team.
- Accurately inputting donor details and donation information into call center systems.
- Actively participating in training sessions to enhance fundraising skills.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive workplace that values diversity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Experience in telemarketing, sales, or fundraising.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage donors effectively.
- Ability to establish rapport with potential donors and maintain long-term relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using call center software and related tools.

Job Type: Contract
Compensation: 250,000 KES monthly. Compensation will be based on the number of story points completed, and actual compensation may vary based on the candidate’s actual output. Amount listed based on expected story points delivered per sprint.
