As a Technical Program Manager II, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality and compatibility of Microsoft OS releases by collaborating across internal teams, driving project planning and execution, and using data insights to guide product improvements. You will support the App Compatibility team by crafting technical documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with internal teams to support compatibility across operating system releases. Contribute to the App Compat roadmap by outlining plans, writing specifications, leading feature development, and syncing efforts across departments. Utilize data-driven decision-making to solve user issues and guide team objectives. Drive cross-functional project execution, managing timelines and aligning resources to meet quality goals. Write or understand technical code for documentation, demos, and internal processes when required.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, data analysis, product development, or program management. Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills. A proactive mindset with results-oriented thinking. Preferred background in program or technical program management, with exposure to OS-level technologies or embedded systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience leading cross-team technical projects. Familiarity with coding, scripting, or reading technical documentation. Strong analytical skills with a focus on delivering impactful, customer-centric solutions.
