Job Summary
The Technical Pre-Sales professional will be responsible for providing tailored solutions to both new and existing corporate clients. This role involves supporting the Business Development team by analyzing customer technical needs and ensuring solutions are aligned with their requirements.

Reporting Line
This role reports directly to the Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the pre-sales process, articulating the company’s technology and product offerings to both business and technical users.
  • Understand and translate customer business requirements into product solutions, helping customers evaluate the benefits.
  • Engage in the bid process, providing technical support and guidance to address customer requirements prior to solution design.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to assess the company’s capabilities and assist with proposal activities.
  • Support the development and response to RFP/RFQ/EOI technical requirements.
  • Prepare technical bid proposals and conduct pre-sale demonstrations.
  • Attend meetings with potential customers to collect technical and business requirements, ensuring all necessary information is gathered.
  • Create technical documentation and deliver presentations and demos confidently.
  • Work with the Business Development and Support teams to gather feedback on current products and contribute to new product development.
  • Assist with proposal building and provide necessary product information to support business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with implementation and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met with feasible solutions.
  • Ensure smooth transition of business and functional requirements to the project team.
  • Other tasks as assigned, including those outside of regular working hours or locations.

Key Competencies

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related IT field preferred.
  • A Diploma in Professional Marketing and membership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing is a plus.

  • Strong presentation, communication (both written and verbal), organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to present and discuss various customer solution designs effectively.
  • Capable of building effective relationships with internal teams at all levels and working closely with business development staff.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a creative approach to solving sales challenges.
