We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Swahili & Somali Language Interpreter to join our team in supporting a key client by resolving user inquiries with accuracy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. You will play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps and enhancing user experiences across client platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Assist users by resolving inquiries efficiently and empathetically. Respond to user issues on client platforms, including account support, with clarity and care. Deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely responses. Analyze user feedback and suggest improvements for user experience. Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose practical solutions. Monitor patterns and escalate non-standard issues to the global support team. Make well-balanced decisions while serving as a strong advocate for the community.
Requirements
Must be a Kenyan citizen between 20–45 years old. Proven experience as a Swahili-Somali interpreter. Must speak fluent Swahili and Somali. Must have a college-level education and currently be unemployed. Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with a high level of empathy. Awareness of the political and cultural dynamics of the region. Must be registered with NSSF and NHIF, have a valid KRA PIN, and possess a certificate of good conduct.
