Job Description/Requirements

Content Strategy and Development:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the brand’s objectives.
  • Organize and manage content schedules for multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Develop and oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content such as articles, graphics, and videos.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and videographers to ensure cohesive and appealing visual content.

Brand Management and Messaging:

  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
  • Write compelling copy that engages various audiences and supports marketing efforts.
  • Lead storytelling initiatives to strengthen the brand’s connection with its audience.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively engage with the audience by addressing comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Encourage user-generated content and foster audience participation.
  • Monitor audience sentiment and feedback to guide content strategies.

Performance Analytics and Optimization:

  • Utilize analytics tools to track the success of social media campaigns and content performance.
  • Generate detailed reports with actionable insights to improve future strategies.
  • Experiment with new ideas and refine approaches based on performance data.

Trend Monitoring and Creativity:

  • Stay updated on emerging trends, platform changes, and innovations in digital marketing.
  • Introduce creative content formats and campaign ideas to maintain a competitive advantage.

Collaboration and Team Leadership:

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Mentor junior team members or content creators to enhance team performance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in social media management or content marketing.
  • Proven success in crafting and executing effective social media strategies.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
  • Strong skills in storytelling, copywriting, and editing.
  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and partnerships is an added advantage.

Job Type: Contract
Compensation: 100,000 KES monthly. Compensation is based on the number of story points achieved. Actual earnings will vary based on candidate performance. Amount stated is based on expected story points completed per sprint.
