Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Marketing Executive to join our team in the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in promoting our clearing and forwarding services, expanding our client base, and enhancing our brand visibility in both local and regional markets.

Job Description/Requirements

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s clearing, forwarding, and logistics services.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, field visits, digital platforms, and networking events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the operations and sales teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Prepare and present regular marketing and sales reports to management.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and logistics-related events.
  • Manage the company’s social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials, including brochures, email campaigns, and newsletters.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Customs and Freight Logistics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry in Kenya and East Africa.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital marketing tools.
  • A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
