You will be a great fit for the Head of Sales role if:

  • You are well-versed in school automation software, with a strong understanding of the terminology, systems, and structures. You know what broadsheets, report cards, VAP, formative assessment reports, duty rosters, marksheets, and other related terms mean. Additionally, you understand how private and public school administration operates, including the chain of command and decision-making processes in finances, academics, and student welfare.
  • You have a proven track record of selling automation software to schools, with documented sales success (e.g., invoices, receipts, statements of accounts) where you consistently exceeded your targets.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape. You know the major players in the space, their strengths and weaknesses, and how to leverage this knowledge to win over clients by effectively communicating our value proposition.
  • You demonstrate exceptional ingenuity. You understand that frugality and pragmatic spending are crucial for a small, self-funded team, and you can showcase how you’ve used creativity to achieve goals without excessive spending.
  • You are a people person with strong networks within the education sector. You know how to build and maintain relationships with industry figures, potential clients, and partners, creating a steady stream of leads.
  • You take pride in nurturing talent and leading by example. As a team leader, you’re committed to guiding your team towards success, ensuring that goals are met while fostering a collaborative environment.
