Role Overview:

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Storyblok to lead the development and implementation of this headless CMS. This role requires a hands-on approach, guiding the team in the setup and implementation of Storyblok to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration with other technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration and development around Storyblok CMS.
  • Ensure the technical architecture and implementation is sound and scalable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Storyblok with other parts of the stack (React, Next.js, Node.js).
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to other engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Storyblok CMS.
  • Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and Typescript.
  • Familiarity with static site generation and DevOps pipelines, particularly Gatsby.
  • Experience with Cypress or Playwright for automated testing and Jest for unit testing.
  • Experience with migrating from headless WordPress installations.

Job Type: Contract
Compensation: 200,000 KES monthly. Compensation will be based on the number of story points completed, and actual compensation may vary based on the candidate’s actual output. Amount listed based on expected story points delivered per sprint.
