Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Nyeri Branch operations. This role is central to achieving sales, parts, and service targets, ensuring profitability, and driving exceptional customer service. The Branch Manager will be responsible for implementing strategy, managing resources, and leading a high-performing team. This role reports directly to the Group Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Execution
- Develop and roll out the branch strategy in line with divisional goals focused on profitability and market growth.
- Prepare branch forecasts, budgets, and business plans; monitor implementation and ensure performance targets are met.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to guide local business strategy and identify expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product/Brand Managers to set and align branch targets across parts, sales, and service functions.
Team & Operations Management
- Lead and manage branch teams across sales, parts, and service departments.
- Ensure effective control over branch-level expenses to enhance profitability.
- Foster internal communication and team engagement to improve staff retention and performance.
- Work with HR to ensure the branch is adequately staffed and team members possess the right competencies.
- Facilitate regular training and coaching to develop team capabilities.
Business Performance & Customer Engagement
- Monitor and report on sales and aftersales performance, and address performance gaps.
- Identify and capitalize on local business opportunities to grow sales and market share.
- Partner with regional stakeholders and business partners to meet branch goals.
- Oversee resolution of customer complaints to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and internal policies to mitigate business risks.
- Maintain safe, secure, and efficient branch operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a business-related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or aftersales leadership roles within a reputable organization.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Business, Financial Management, or equivalent.
