Job Field Commercial Agronomist
Key Responsibilities
1. Expansion
- Increase the acreage in planting and harvesting under Nundoroto’s management through acquisition
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow operations effectively.
- Increase activities in second season crops and drive regenerative agricultural activities among our clients
2. Farmer Advisory
- Provide tailored advice to farmers on fodder production, including crop planning, soil management, and harvesting practices.
- Work closely with the Bles Dairies FMS Manager to improve the business cases for individual farmers and cooperatives.
- Manage relationships with seed and fertilizer companies to provide optimized solutions for farmers.
3. Leadership
- Lead and manage the Commercial Team to achieve strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive team performance and deliver on growth targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial agronomy, preferably in large-scale agriculture or forage production.
- Strong knowledge of fodder production systems and agronomic practices.
- Experience in sales and business development within the agricultural sector.
